Savannah Chrisley Goes IG Official with Boyfriend Robert Shiver

Savannah Christle and her boyfriend make their relationship Instagram official. The Growing Up Christley star debuts her romance with Robert Shiver on social media with a series of PDA-filled photos. She captions the post, “Sometimes it just works,” along with a red heart emoji.

Fellow celebs react in the comments, with Jason Aldean’s wife Britney writing, “If y’all aren’t the sweetest!” One Tree Hill star and country singer Jana Kramer echoes Savannah’s sentiment, reiterating that love is in the air with a bunch of red hearts of her own.

Savannah, the daughter of Todd and Julie Christley, previously opened up about dating the former Auburn University football player on Nick Viall’s podcast The Viall Files. She explained on the September 14th episode that Robert had a shocking past, revealing his ex, Lindsay Shiver, has been accused of conspiring with an alleged hitman to murder him.

“This guy that I’m talking to… his wife just tried to kill him. It’s fine. His wife tried to kill him. Your current boyfriend is a survivor of a murder attempt. It was a thing.”

“Who is attempting to kill who? I don’t know, I don’t know. But he’s a normal person and I love it!” Savannah continued.

“Wait, whose wife tried to kill him? Is it the guy from Auburn? No, did he go to Auburn? I don’t know where he went to school.” She clarified, “She tried to kill him in the Bahamas. Okay, she’s on house arrest.”

Nick responds, “You do know a lot!”

Savannah laughs, “Okay, okay, and who is this man? Wait, did you slide into his DMs too? I like the DMs, listen, hot to die, that’s how I met him.”

Nick asks, “Have you defined the relationship yet?”

Savannah replies, “I mean, we’re like friends, like getting to know each other. First base, second base, third base… how many bases? We’re getting to know each other. I mean, he’s a really sweet human being.”

Nick adds, “Maybe this is perfect because if you both are doing the single parent situation, you can lean on each other and realize your kids come first and then everyone else comes after. The mutual understanding.”

Savannah reflects, “I am blown away, blown away. Who would’ve thought? This is like the ‘attempted murder couple.'”

While Savannah said on the episode that she knows her fans will be curious about the situation, she vowed never to speak about the drama since Robert has three young children.

“I like to say I will never speak on it because there’s kids involved. So, I love saying I’d never speak on it. However, I just have so much respect for them. I know how it feels as a kid, so I would never say, ‘This is what happened.’ That’s for them to talk about when they’re ready.”

Nick then asks, “When’s your next date? Is he here?”

According to NBC News, in early August, Lindsay was arrested and charged in the Bahamas for conspiring to kill Robert, several months after the two filed for divorce in the United States. In Robert’s divorce filing, obtained by the outlet, he alleged the 36-year-old engaged in adulterous conduct and said their marriage was irretrievably broken. Meanwhile, Lindsay’s filing reportedly claimed that Robert condoned the affair during a period of separation.

NBC previously reached out to Lindsay’s attorney for comment on the accusation but hasn’t heard back.
