‘Alaskan Bush People’ Ami Brown Achieves Something Big
While Alaskan Bush People fans have not seen an episode in almost two years, the Brown family remains visible on social media. This mostly involves Bear Brown, with smaller appearances by Rain and Birdie. However, matriarch Ami Brown has tried to stay connected with fans since the show last aired. Now, she has revealed a special milestone she just achieved.
Here is what Ami did and how her son Bam Bam helped her along the way.
Ami Brown Gets Her Driver’s Permit
Bam Bam Brown took to his Instagram account and posted a video of him with his mother, Ami Brown. The two had just left the Department of Motor Vehicles. Ami told her fans she had just passed her written test to gain her driver’s permit.
Bam Bam Brown posted this as a two-part video for Alaskan Bush People fans. In the caption, he wrote, “The other day at the DMV with Mom,” and let his mother tell the story. The first part of the video was them arriving at the DMV and saying Ami was about to go in and take the test. The second video was the aftermath, where Ami passed the rest and got her permit.
Ami let fans know that she passed the test. She said she hasn’t driven in years but knows how to drive. Ami now needs to pass the driving test, and Bam joked that she just needs to practice parallel parking. She said she studied it before her written test and is ready to prove herself.
Bam finished off by saying that she is a legal driver as long as he is in the car with her. The next step is getting a driver’s license; she just needs to pass the driving test.
What Is Happening With Alaskan Bush People?
Right now, fans can only follow Ami Brown and the Alaskan Bush People family on social media. It has been two years in December since the show was last on the air, and there is no word on its return.
A lot has happened since the last episode aired. Bear Brown and his wife Raiven have had two boys. Rain Brown has gotten married. Ami Brown has now gotten her driver’s license. However, there is no word on a new season. Billy Brown worked out the deal for the show. There was only one season after his death, which he likely also brokered.
Without Billy Brown, there is a chance no other Brown family member has worked out a deal to continue the show on Discovery Channel.
