Rick Lagina, historian Charles Barkhouse, and researcher Corey Amundson are on their way to Liverpool, Nova Scotia, to investigate some intriguing stone carvings.

They’ve been contacted by Isaac Rayfuse, who believes these carvings may relate to the ongoing mystery of Oak Island.

Corey is particularly excited, as these carvings remind him of the Fontarcada markings in Portugal, which connect to the Knights Templar—a military order rumored to have hidden sacred treasures in The Money Pit during the 11th to 16th centuries.

The team has previously uncovered similar carvings in Portugal that match those found on Oak Island, sparking their interest.

Upon arrival, they meet local landowners Isaac Rayfuse and Nick Frailich, who lead them to the carvings.

The first marking they examine has been there for generations, possibly dating back to the 14th century.

It resembles a broadhead arrow, typically used to signify ownership, but its presence on rock is unusual.

Rick and the team debate its origins, considering the possibility that it may not be a British broadhead after all.

Instead, they explore the idea that it could be a “goose paw,” a symbol associated with medieval cathedral builders and Templars.

As they continue their investigation, they discover more carvings, including one that features a distinct cross above a circle, reminiscent of a medieval symbol known as the Globus cruciger.

This symbolizes Christianity’s dominion over the world, suggesting a possible connection to Templar activities.

Rick notes the significance of these markings and their potential implications for understanding pre-Columbian visits to the New World.

The team acknowledges that these carvings could provide vital clues in their search for answers on Oak Island.

With the promise of further investigation ahead, the team leaves with a renewed sense of purpose, eager to explore what these carvings might reveal about the island’s long-standing mysteries.
