Copy you, Tony. That’s great news!

Do you see anything sticking out from the bottom? Anything prominent?

But there are answers there—there’s no question about that.

Who knows what may be excavated out of that? Who knows how many more items of interest may surface from the desire to help his father and his uncle fulfill their dreams of searching for treasure hidden on this mysterious island?

To the use of his many skills to involve himself in a wide variety of business endeavors, here’s what Alex Lagina revealed about Oak Island just before he died:

When one looks at a map, one may not think anything about this little remote island that is located off the south coast of Nova Scotia, one of the largest provinces in Canada.

However, those who know—especially those who watch The Curse of Oak Island TV show—would tell you how this tiny speck of an island is filled with so many mysteries.

It has attracted the attention of hordes of young men looking for their fortune and some adventure for over 200 years.

Incredibly, one would find that the main reason these young men made their way to the island for all this time was because they were hoping to come across the treasure rumored to be hidden there.

This all started when a kid named Daniel McGinnis came across a circular depression in the ground while wandering around the island in 1795.

This brought back memories of all the rumors that said there must be treasure hidden on the island.

Interestingly enough, though we are not certain who hid this treasure, some suspected it must have been the treasure hidden by a renowned privateer known as Captain William Kidd.

Apparently, he thought that Oak Island was the perfect place to hide this treasure.

If it wasn’t him, then it would have been one of the many pirates who ravaged the Seven Seas during the Golden Age of Piracy.

With this in mind, Daniel McGinnis and some of his friends got to work digging into what is now known as the original Money Pit.

Unfortunately, despite finding several clues that told McGinnis and his team they were on the right path, they ultimately did not come away with the treasure they were hoping to find.

Here too, for unknown structures, Menwood appears to be an intact box strain, and the so-called U-shaped structure is clearly massive, well-engineered.

Where we are right now, we just uncovered—as I believe everybody knows—yet another structure in Smith’s Cove.

If they had found it, maybe it could have helped us confirm who this treasure belonged to.

Although there are many strong rumors and clues that may link the treasure to Captain Kidd or some other pirate from back then, there are also rumors that this treasure may belong to Queen Marie Antoinette.

The story goes that in the midst of the French Revolution, she must have tried to stash her fortune on the island so that she and her family would have something to live off once they got away from France.

Alas, the guillotine would prevent the last French royal family from ever reconnecting with their vast fortune.

Despite the lack of knowledge regarding who this treasure belonged to, this didn’t stop people from trying to claim it for themselves.

One such person is Alex Lagina, the son of Marty Lagina, one of the leaders of this treasure-hunting team.

As he aids with the treasure-hunting efforts that he and his father are involved in, he has come across a remarkable discovery that may change the course of this treasure hunt—and indeed history—forever.

To be honest, it comes as no surprise that Alex is at the forefront of such a discovery.

A multi-talented man, he has dipped his toes into highly lucrative endeavors that have seen him achieve success in businesses involving engineering and entertainment.

This may seem like a far cry for someone born in Traverse City, Michigan, but that would be far from the truth for Alex Lagina.

One would find that The Curse of Oak Island TV show follows the Lagina brothers who are on what may seem to be a lifelong quest to come away with the treasure rumored to be hidden somewhere on this mysterious island.

You guys actually found coconut fiber? That’s incredible!

However, before Alex made it to the island, one may be surprised to learn that he was able to earn so much financial success in his career as an engineer and businessman that he’s now said to be worth anywhere between $10 million to $50 million—especially as he’s still so young.

One would find that what may have contributed to this handsome fortune was the fact that he acts as the general manager of Mari Vineyard, the family’s joint enterprise.

Through this role in the family business, one can see how he has been able to show the world his competence, thanks to his entrepreneurial skills and his dedication to maintaining quality standards.

Despite being so involved with the family’s vineyard, one would find that Alex still had the time and wherewithal to get involved with his father’s longtime fascination—the mystery surrounding that peculiar spot known as Oak Island.

For years now, he has followed his father to the remote ends of Nova Scotia to help with the exploration efforts that his father and his uncle are involved in.

Perhaps to his surprise, these efforts have led to the revelation of some rather fascinating discoveries that have given him cause to believe that maybe there truly is treasure on this mysterious island.

Take a look at Aladdin’s Cave, a cave discovered to have traces of silver and gold within it.

Understandably, this adds to the rumors that maybe, just maybe, there is some treasure on this island.

At the very least, it adds to the mystique that surrounds this strange place.

How did all these traces of precious metals get down there?

Hopefully, Alex’s passion for engineering will help his father’s team get to the bottom of this age-old treasure hunting mystery that continues to persist on Oak Island.

What’s that?

Yeah? Oh! Whoa, whoa! Is that the motherlode right there? That looks like it!

Yeah, there it is! No way!

I think that says his presence on Oak Island isn’t just so that he can show off his engineering abilities; it was also so that he could show his adventurous side.

Furthermore, working on Oak Island allowed him to face the complex challenges that are always present there.

As such, these challenges allowed him to display his determination to get things done.

Before long, he saw that he had become a role model to those hoping to become adventurers and explorers themselves.

Understandably, this has helped him cement his status as one of the major figures on both the show and in the family business as well.

To be honest, he deserves this when one considers what he’s done on the island.

They’d find that it has had an effect on the world of treasure hunting, making him a figure of fascination and inspiration.

Now, some may say that he only got so far because he was the son of Marty Lagina, one of the major figures on The Curse of Oak Island team.

That would be unfair to say, especially as Alex has indeed earned pretty much everything he has today.

He earned his engineering degree at the University of Michigan College of Engineering back in 2008.

This degree seemed to be the foundation for his future goals.

This is perhaps because following his graduation, Alex found that he would soon be thrust into the limelight of his father’s future endeavors.

You see, just a few years before his graduation, Rick and Marty Lagina had bought the rights to the mysterious Oak Island.

This happened back in 2006, and following this, they were soon working with the History Channel and the A&E Network to get The Curse of Oak Island TV show going.

Once this was set up, Alex found that he’d be going along with his father as the show tried to lean into the island’s historical elements and other factors that come into play regarding its strange mysteries.

As time went on, the show has been able to last for about 11 seasons now, attesting to its allure and popularity.

To be honest, it was bound to be a hit.

If the 229th search for treasure didn’t draw them to their TV screens, then the research of locations such as Nolan’s Cross and the aforementioned Aladdin’s Cave must have kept fans fascinated with what was going on on Oak Island.

In the course of this show, we’ve also witnessed discoveries that have made us wonder about what was going on back in those long-forgotten days on the island.

Well, Alex would find that he couldn’t get too distracted by some of the more fascinating aspects of the treasure hunting activities taking place on Oak Island.

That is because he soon found that he was put in charge of the Oak Island Tourist Company.

This company was quite handy because it gave fans who wanted a closer inspection of the island a closer look at what was going on there.

Add this to the vineyard he was in charge of, and one would find that Marty must have felt so lucky to have such a competent young man within his own home.

To be honest, it isn’t a surprise that Alex learned how to juggle so many things at the same time.

Just take a look at his father, who runs several business endeavors while spending a good chunk of his time searching for treasure on Oak Island.

One such business endeavor that stands out at the moment is the well-known wind turbine firm that is part of the family’s portfolio.

With all these businesses in mind, one can see how Alex is set to remain an important figure on the show for some time to come.

Who else would be so handy when it comes to facing the challenges of juggling family ventures together with the endless search for treasure on this mysterious island?
