‘The Curse Of Oak Island’ Finds Marker For Templar Treasure?
For several years, The Curse of Oak Island has speculated that the Templar Knights hid religious treasure on the island years ago. This includes, but is not limited to, the Holy Grail. However, through the years, the History Channel reality series has not found the mythical treasure. However, in the most recent episode, the team believes they are one step closer to uncovering this treasure.
Here is what the team believes might point them to the possible Templar hidden treasure.
Curse Of Oak Island Believes It Found A Marker Pointing To Treasure
The Curse of Oak Island team has been working a lot around the Garden Shaft this season. They believe they have found something underground that might be constructed tunnels. It could lead to an actual vault with the treasure they have been searching for all this time. Now, the team believes they found a marker pointing to the exact location of the treasure in the Garden Shaft.
The most recent episode had a lot going on, including the team finding a potential depositor construction. However, the biggest find came with the new belief that they have a marker that points directly to the location of the treasure. The best news is that it points to the Garden Shaft, meaning they are headed in the right direction.
Researcher Christopher Morford believes that Nolan’s Cross is the marker. Morford said he believes the Templar Knights constructed Nolan’s Cross to point to the hidden treasure. He said it could include things like the Holy Grail among other Christian relics. Morford showed everyone how the two large cone-shaped boulders on Nolan’s Cross align with the two drilled stones. This points to the Money Pit.
This led surveyor Steve Guptill to walk the line and measure it out. He realized this all led to right above the tunnel that runs to the Baby Blob. As a reminder, the Baby Blob is a 20-by-20-foot area that contains an unnatural source of gold and silver. The team believes there might be more gold and silver treasure buried between 80 and 120 feet underground. This is near the Garden Shaft.
Curse Of Oak Island Team Begind Drilling In Garden Shaft Again
The team already realized there wouldn’t be any new major excavations this season. However, this means they will keep working on the Garden Shaft area. They already found what were possibly tunnels underground there in a recent exploration. Now, Rick and Marty Lagina have started work drilling there again.
What was fun about this moment was that Rick, 72, and Marty, 68, were the ones physically drilling in the area, teasing they were returning to their “roots,” as their grandfather was a miner. However, while it seemed fun, they discovered wooden beams that might be a tunnel heading to the Baby Blob.
Do you believe Nolan’s Cross might be a marker pointing to Templar treasure on Curse of Oak Island? Are they finally getting close to finding what they have been looking for? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
