The FBI read off a letter Lindsay wrote
to them in court, so yes, she’s correct.
I didn’t want her to attend my sister’s
hearing; let the message get to us that
she did not want us present at the
hearing. Savannah Chrisley is setting
the record straight as she hits back at
sister Lindsay, whom she confirms was
asked not to show up at Todd and Julie’s
appeal hearings.

“It’s my parents’ appeal; they have the
right to say who they want there and
who they don’t. Clearly, there were
such serious errors, and the appeals
court has ruled that, hey, we want to
hear you out. We want to hear what
happened.”

The Chrisley Knows Best star gets into
it during a fan Q&A session on Instagram.
It’s a reluctant response the day after
Lindsay seemingly shaded Savannah on her
Southern Tea podcast, as the famous
family seeks to overturn her parents’
2022 convictions.

“So I was not going to address this
publicly at all, but since Lindsay felt
the need to go on her podcast and discuss
this in order to help get her rating,
I told her that she was not wanted,
that my dad did not want her there,
and that he didn’t care to have a
relationship with her. It just was a
little bit mind-blowing to me because
I personally feel that I was kind of used
at the trial, and then things changed
once the conviction came down, and all of
the relationships very much changed.”

A little backstory: the Chrisleys claim
Lindsay helped prosecutors build their
case against Todd and Julie with her
involvement with the government.

“My parents didn’t want her there; she
had involvement, and she has threatened
to sue me. That’s fine, um, because
there’s nothing that I’m saying that
cannot be backed up via the court records.
When we actually sit and read court
documents and you see firsthand
government misconduct and things of that
nature, it really causes you to question
things. Also, I am trying to be the bigger
person here, but the next step is going
to be posting screenshots of text
messages that were received and calling
me names, calling me stupid and everything
else. So God bless her, and she should
probably worry about her own disastrous
life before discussing me on her podcast.”

This is just the latest drama in Lindsay’s
touch-and-go relationship with her family.
Savannah told ET last month there’s hope
for her mom and dad, who surrendered to
their federal prison over a year ago.

“So it just goes to show who she is and
the depths that she will go for a little
bit of fame and attention, and it pains
me to even discuss this, but the record
has to be set straight. I do not wish
anyone bad; I hope everyone can move
along with their lives as they see fit,
including myself.”

“What is your biggest wish for them at
this moment? Right now, in this moment,
I just hope for peace and clarity. I
hope to have them home, you know, maybe
later in this summer, depending on how
long it takes for the appellate court to
rule. I don’t like to plan too far out
because I just hope by then they’re home.”
