Former Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown is a regular on Instagram, as he uses it as an accountability tool when it comes to his recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. However, he missed a few days at the end of last week and many wondered if something had happened to him. Matt returned to Instagram on Sunday night with a three-part Instagram video that explained that he has been out with an injury.

Matt said that he has a “messed up neck” and it causes really bad headaches when it flares up on him. He said it wasn’t that big of a deal, but he pulled his neck somehow a few days ago, and it has caused him intense pain. Matt said that he is currently looking for a good doctor and one who deals in “post-recovery treatment.” Matt knows that he can’t deal with pain medications because he is a recovering addict, but that shouldn’t forfeit his rights to his quality of life.

He said he just redirects the energy in a way that is more positive, and he said he is worth it.

Matt Brown has a new excursion planned

However, Matt Brown said he has some big plans for the near future. He said the snow is coming soon, which has him excited. However, Matt said he has plans to go up on the mountain one more time before winter arrives for “one last hurrah” before the snow comes. He said he feels he needs it after all he has been going through.

This could be fun news for Matt’s Alaskan Bush People fans because it could mean a new YouTube video. It has been three months since Matt released his The Last Ride of Max three-part video series on YouTube, which was close to two hours of Matt’s last excursion up the mountain.

Matt hasn’t released a new video at all since he put out his Once Upon a Time in Loomis video two months ago. That was Matt’s first attempt to put something together that was more in the form of a movie, and it checked in at one hour and 41 minutes.
