Season 14 of Alaskan Bush People
documented the trials and tribulations
of the Brown family as they tried to
forge their way forward following
the death of their beloved patriarch
and leading star, Billy, in 2021.

There’s no official word from Discovery Channel
about whether the hit series will be
back for the next installment yet;
however, it is a smart bet that
the famous clan is most likely gonna return
considering viewers’ high demand for the show.

In the meantime, let’s check on
the famous TV family and see what they’ve
been up to.

Thanks to her strong character and resilience,
Amy has survived through many hardships
in the past few years—from being diagnosed
with stage 3 lung cancer to losing her
husband in early 2021.

The reality star faced another ordeal
when a Tennessee doctor named Robert
filed a $500,000 lawsuit against
Billy’s estate and his business,
Alaska Wilderness Family Productions,
for an alleged breach of contract.

Amy, who’s the personal representative
of her husband’s estate, previously filed
to dismiss the suit, stating lack of
subject matter jurisdiction, but the case
is still ongoing two years on from Billy’s death.

Amy’s life pretty much revolves
around celebrating new additions to the family
as a grandma, spending time with her large clan,
and navigating the ups and downs
of managing her ranch with the help of her children.

Matt gives regular updates on YouTube
and Instagram about his life off the grid
in the North Cascade Mountains
near his family’s home in Washington.

While he has been shunned by the wolf pack,
the former TV personality seems to be
enjoying his remote lifestyle
and doing well on his own.

Over the years, fans have watched
Matt’s battle with substance abuse
cause a strain on his relationship with his family,
and the eldest Brown sibling is always
upfront regarding the recovery tools
that work best for him. He often
encourages fans who are struggling
to find positive outlets.

Currently, Matt is concentrating on
keeping himself physically and mentally healthy
so he doesn’t fall back into his old habits.

Bam Bam, who always shares words of wisdom
to his fans about respecting the danger,
couldn’t avoid it. After all,
last May, the TV personality survived
a horrific car accident that caused
the demise of two other young people.

It was later confirmed that Bam Bam,
who only suffered minor injuries,
was not responsible for causing the accident.
Since the traumatic event, the usually private
38-year-old has been keeping a low profile
and helping his mother run their
Washington ranch.

Bam Bam is currently working on
his boathouse, which is his mainstay
during the off-season, where he stays
with longtime girlfriend Allison Kagan,
who was previously the field producer
for the Discovery Channel show.

Congratulations are in order for Bear
and his wife Raven! On January 20,
the couple became proud parents for the second time
after welcoming their son, Cove, by C-section.
The baby was kept in the NICU for a while
due to a few complications before being discharged
a few days later.

Following many breakups and reconciliations,
the pair decided to give another shot
to their tumultuous relationship.
Raven revealed last December that
she and Bear had separated,
but the two quickly patched things up
before the arrival of their child.

The pair, who already share a son named River,
is looking forward to navigating a family of four
as they continue working on their marital issues
for the sake of their two boys.

Since the patriarch of the wolf pack
passed away in February 2021,
each of the Brown family members
have been grieving in their own way.

Gabe has adopted a little more punk rock
and edgier look; he also seems to be
expressing himself more through his art
and fashion choices.

Last season showed Gabe working hard
on North Star Ranch as he helped his mother
manage the land. The Discovery Channel alum
is looking forward to continuing to help
his extended family while also focusing
on his own clan. Gabe’s main priority
is being the best father that he can
to his two daughters, whom he shares
with wife Raquel Rose.

The husband-and-wife duo have made it
very clear that they want to keep
their family out of the spotlight,
which means we won’t be seeing Rose
or their kids on the show.

Despite wanting to give the same Brown lifestyle
to his two children that he experienced,
Noah and his wife, Rain Alicia,
moved from their North Star Ranch
after losing all their possessions
during the Palmer Mountain wildfire.

The father of two has reportedly found
what he considers the perfect home for his family
on an island in Alaska,
so now he can achieve his dream
of raising his sons in the same atmosphere
that he grew up in.

Last November, Noah revealed that
he was diagnosed with post-concussive syndrome
after sustaining a serious head injury
when he hit his head on a mental hole.
During the incident, he reportedly suffered
more concussions than a boxer
and experiences frequent memory loss as a result.

Birdie suffered a major health scare
in the last season of the show.
The 28-year-old shared with her followers
in the premiere episode that she had
developed borderline tumors in her ovaries,
which meant they weren’t cancerous yet
but could become so anytime.

Birdie underwent surgery to take out the tumors,
with the surgeons also removing her appendix
and abdominal wall. It was reported that
the chances of her tumors returning
were more than 50% if she doesn’t
get a hysterectomy, which means she
will never be able to conceive children.

The young star was left to make
the hardest decision of her life:
to not get the hysterectomy so she can have kids
and risk getting cancer,
or get the hysterectomy and not be able
to conceive children.

No matter what path she takes,
we wish her a speedy recovery.

Unlike most of her siblings, who are
prioritizing their own lives,
Rainy has been vocal about her desire
to fulfill her late dad’s dream
of mining gold on their mountain home
in Washington by setting up her own
mining operation.

Opening up about the trauma inflicted
by her father’s passing, the youngest Brown sibling
said she needed to seek professional help
while processing the sense of grief and loss
after being back in the North Star Ranch.
