‘Alaskan Bush People’ Matt Brown Reveals His Return
Alaskan Bush People alum Matt Brown isn’t on the Discovery Channel’s show but he told his social media followers that he plans to go back up the mountain. Actually, his brother Bear has been up there preparing a move for Ami. However, that’s not why the self-proclaimed addict is heading for the hills.
Matt Brown Dropped Out Of Sight For A Bit
ABP fans know that Matt isn’t close to his family, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t enjoy the wilderness. Sometimes, he goes up the mountain and he stays in a cabin, or he camps. When he’s not doing that, he checks in with his fans on social media and chats about what he’s up to. Additionally, he always gives pointers and tips on how he deals with his addiction. So, he brings something valuable to a sector of the community. However, he dropped out of sight for a bit, and this week, he explained why.
Matt Brown sat out the winter in town because it was terribly cold. However, with the summer rolling around, it’s now terribly hot. Actually, hot conditions bring memories of the terrible fire that destroyed the ranch on August 18, 2020. However, the former Alaskan Bush People star is planning to go up there because at least, it’s a lot cooler than staying down in town. Why he didn’t mention his plans before boils down to a simple fact: his phone has been giving him a lot of problems. Back in March, he also complained about a WiFi problem.
Matt Brown Heads Back Up The Mountian
In February this year, the former ABP star also complained about not being able to upload videos. Well, Discovery Channel fans encouraged him to keep trying and keep at it. If you don’t know, he also runs an account on YouTube. There, he shares his adventures as well as his struggles with sobriety. This week, his luck seems to be changing and he went onto Instagram to tell his followers that he thinks he might have sorted out the phone and connectivity problems.
Matt Brown told his followers that the heat is driving him back up the mountain. In his video, he talked about just hiding at home under the air-conditioner. Actually, he said that “it got so hot, the AC wasn’t doing much good.” The only way he felt cool was by “stepping outside,” so that he could say, “Okay, the AC is awesome.” That made him decide that getting up to a new place that he found on the mountain was a good idea. He said that it’s “cooler by 10 degrees” up in the hills, but his new spot is “even cooler.”
Another Motivational Message
Matt Brown always adds a motivational message for others who struggle with sobriety. He told his followers that it’s important in life to try and “turn negatives into positives.” Additionally, he denied that he was “self-deluding himself” by doing that. He believes that if people live good lives, then they should be able to move in “a positive direction.” Actually, it sounds like he thought about that a lot. So, he promised to return and explain more about it later.
