The Bureau of Prison records show that
Julie Chrisley is not in custody. The
Chrisley Knows Best star is supposed
to be in federal custody ahead of her
resentencing hearing later this month.
Now, officials aren’t releasing any
information about where Julie is. Has
she been secretly freed? Here is what
has been revealed so far.

Julie Chrisley is listed as not in
custody on the Bureau of Prison website.
When news outlets reached out about more
information regarding Julie’s whereabouts,
they released a statement pertaining to
what “not in BOP custody” might mean.
People who are incarcerated might be listed
as not in BOP custody for a variety of
reasons, especially if their sentence
has not been completed. They might be
out of custody for a period of time
to attend court hearings. Prisoners
might also be listed as not in BOP custody
as they receive medical treatment. It’s
also possible to have this listed as
your status as a prisoner if you have
been transferred to a halfway house
or supervised custody, like house arrest.

However, the Federal Bureau of Prisons
stated they could not comment directly on
Julie Chrisley’s whereabouts and cited
safety as the reason why. Julie is likely
being transferred for resentencing. Todd
and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of
tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022. The
reality TV couple received a combined
19 years behind bars, with Julie
receiving a 7-year sentence. On top of
that, they were also ordered to pay
$17.2 million in restitution. They
were ordered to report for their prison
sentences in January of 2023. Todd
Chrisley has been serving his time
in a facility in Florida, while
Julie has been located in Kentucky.

Last September, their sentences were
reduced; Julie Chrisley’s sentence was
reduced by 14 months and Todd’s was
dropped by 2 years. This summer, the
couple submitted their case to an
appeals court. The judge withheld
Todd’s sentence but chose to vacate
Julie’s. It was determined by the
court that there was not sufficient
evidence to say that Julie Chrisley
knew about the fraud that was happening
the entire time.

Since July, the Chrisley Knows Best star
has been waiting for her resentencing
hearing. She initially tried to get out
of appearing in person in Atlanta, but
the judge ruled that she would have
to be present in court. Although
Julie’s whereabouts have not been confirmed
by BOP or her attorney, it is assumed
that she is likely in transit for her
September 25 court hearing. It often
takes a month or more for a prisoner
to be transferred from one location to
another. During that time, they are
not considered to be in Bureau of
Prison custody; they are usually in
the custody of U.S. Marshals.

Savannah Chrisley offers words of
encouragement to fans. Chrisley Knows
Best star Savannah Chrisley is offering
words of encouragement a week shy of
her mother’s resentencing. This has not
been an easy time for the podcaster, as
she has stepped up in many ways, yet
she is determined to find a light at
the end of the tunnel. Keep reading
for more of what the 27-year-old had to say.

It has been a rough road for Savannah
Chrisley. Both of her parents, Todd
and Julie Chrisley, were sentenced to
a total of 19 years behind bars. They
started serving their sentences in
January 2023, with Todd in Pensacola,
Florida, and Julie in Kentucky. With
both of them behind bars, Savannah
had to step up as the guardian of her
younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe.
Grayson is now 18, whereas Chloe is
11. Chloe has praised her sister for
doing the unthinkable and being a
great mother figure in Julie’s absence.

While her parents were incarcerated,
Savannah’s ex-fiancé Nick Cile’s passed
away, so that was a pain she had to
deal with on her own. She also contemplated
waiting on having a family until they
were released, as she did not want them
to miss a moment. Savannah has since
decided to look into egg freezing so
she can have control of her own body
and the choices that she makes.

With all that has gone on, she has taken
the time to send a special message to
her fans via Instagram. She explained
that it is okay to not be okay, and
more so, life has its ups and downs
and no one has everything sorted out.
Savannah added that if they say they
do, it is likely they are hiding behind
their own private battles. She further
noted that the pain is temporary and
nothing lasts forever. This is clearly
something she has to remind herself of
as she awaits her mother Julie Chrisley’s
resentencing on September 25.

Accompanying her message was a reel of
her in a blue dress that went from
black and white to color. Proud followers
after reading this, Savannah Chrisley had
a few very proud followers who couldn’t
help but praise her words in the comment
section: “You have the strength of 10
people and are amazing! We truly never
know what we are capable of until the
moment. Just remember God doesn’t call
the equipped; He equips the called. Thank
you for this; your words are always so
poignant. God bless you; you are a genius.”

Thank you for that, Savannah Chrisley;
you are amazing! Hopefully, she can keep
using her words and her experiences to
inspire and help others fight through
the tough times. What do you think of
Savannah’s words of encouragement? Moreover,
do you feel she has grown a lot through
this experience? Let us know in the
comments below.
